Configure application preferences, tokens, and startup options.
Preferences
Language
Status Rotator++ supports 11 languages. Select your preferred language from the dropdown menu.
Theme
Choose your visual theme:

| Dark | Dark mode for reduced eye strain |
| Light | Light mode for bright environments |
| System | Automatically follows your OS theme |
Minimize to Tray
When enabled, clicking the close button will minimize the app to the system tray instead of closing it. The app continues running in the background.
Startup Options
Configure which features start automatically when you launch the application:

| Auto-run Rich Presence | Automatically connect Rich Presence |

Auto-run features require that you have already configured the necessary tokens and settings.
Discord Tokens
User Token
Required for: Status Rotator
Your Discord User Token is needed to change your Discord status.
Your User Token gives full access to your Discord account.
- NEVER share it with anyone
- NEVER paste it on suspicious websites
- It is stored locally and securely on your device
How to Get Your User Token
- Open Discord in your web browser at discord.com/app (Chrome recommended)
- Press
F12orCtrl+Shift+I(Windows/Linux) orCmd+Option+I(Mac) to open DevTools - Click on the Network tab in DevTools
- Type
apiin the filter box to filter API requests - Perform any action in Discord (like opening a channel), then click on any request that appears
- In the request headers, look for
Authorizationand copy its value - this is your token
Bot Token
Required for: Role Color Rotator
Your Bot Token is needed to control your Discord bot for role color changes.
How to Get Your Bot Token
- Go to discord.com/developers/applications
- Select your application (or create a new one)
- Go to the Bot section
- Click Reset Token and copy the new token
If you reset your bot token, the old token will immediately stop working. Update it in Status Rotator++.
Data Management
Export Data
Save all your settings, statuses, colors, and configurations to a JSON file. This is useful for:
- Backing up your configuration
- Moving to a new computer
- Sharing setups (without tokens!)
Import Data
Restore your settings from a previously exported JSON file.
Tokens are not included in exports for security. You'll need to re-enter them after importing.
Delete Data
Reset the application to its default state. This will:
- Delete all saved statuses and colors
- Remove all tokens
- Clear all preferences
Logout
Disconnect your license from this device. Use this when:
- Transferring to a new computer
- Troubleshooting license issues
- Deactivating on a device you no longer use
